Black Gropper is a progressive labour and employment law firm, located in downtown Vancouver.

Black Gropper was founded in 1999 by Allan Black and a group of partners and associates of the former Vancouver law firm, McTaggart Ellis, which was founded in 1917, and had represented trade unions (local, national and international), labour organizations, teachers and other employees for over 50 years.

It was the oldest firm practicing union side labour and employment law in the Province. We have a long standing and varied clientele of which we are extremely proud, and we continue to grow and develop new client relationships.
