Archit Gupta joins Monkhouse Law Employment Lawyers as associate

Archit Gupta has joined Toronto’s Monkhouse Law Employment Lawyers as an associate.

Before joining the firm, Gupta completed his articling at a prominent boutique law firm in Toronto, where he was involved in a broad spectrum of employment law matters, according to his firm bio.

“He provided assistance on cases before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court, Canada Industrial Relations Board, Ontario Labour Relations Board, and Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. Notably, Archit has contributed to the drafting of submissions at the Federal Court of Appeal and has attended hearings before federal tribunals. Archit has represented both employees and employers and has successfully negotiated settlements for dismissed employees across various sectors,” it states.

Gupta holds a Master of Laws (GPLLM) from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, and he completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honours from the University of Exeter, in England. During law school, he volunteered with the University of Exeter Legal Clinic, offering pro bono legal services, and earned the Best University Team award at the national Worshipful Company of Arbitrators competition for his outstanding negotiation skills.
