Kathryn Marshall launches new employment law firm focused on workers’ rights

by HR Law Canada

Kathryn Marshall has announced the launch of her own law firm, Marshall Law, with a focus on representing employees in workplace disputes. The firm, which opened its doors today on University Avenue in Toronto, is positioning itself as an advocate for individuals who have experienced abuse, harassment, discrimination, and other forms of mistreatment in the workplace.

“We only represent people, not companies,” Marshall said in a statement posted on LinkedIn. “We aren’t afraid to take on big companies, powerful people, governments, and unions. Tough battles don’t deter us, and neither does challenging the status quo or taking on the powerful establishment.”

Joining Marshall in the new venture are Marisa Parsons and Samara Rotstein, two colleagues she praised as talented professionals. She also acknowledged Hamish Marshall, who she described as “our unofficial in-house IT support.”

Marshall expressed gratitude to her clients, whose support and encouragement helped motivate the firm’s launch. “I am so thankful for my brave clients who inspired me to launch a firm so I could keep helping more people,” she said.
