About

With over 25 years’ experience delivering practical strategies for resolving conflict, Mitchell Rose is the principal of Ontario-based Mitchell Rose Professional Corporation (o/a Rose Dispute Resolution), established in 2019.

In 1995, Mitchell was called to the Ontario Bar, practicing as an employment lawyer and civil litigator for most of his legal career, and now holding the designations of Chartered Mediator (2015) and Qualified Arbitrator (2022) from the ADR Institute of Canada.

His practice focuses on the resolution of employment disputes through mediation, arbitration and mediation-arbitration (med-arb), from the small to the complex. Mitchell’s goal in dispute resolution is to help legal counsel and their clients achieve practical solutions that satisfy parties’ interests, reflect legal reality, and avoid the time and expense of protracted litigation.

As past chair of the ADR section of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and a current member of the OBA’s Labour and Employment section executive, Mitchell is also a regular writer and speaker on employment law and ADR topics.
