Tahir Khorasanee has joined Steinbergs LLP as a senior associate. He made the announcement on LinkedIn on Aug. 8.
“I’m starting a new position as Senior Associate, Labour and Employment at Steinbergs LLP!” he wrote.
Khorasanee is also the vice-president of the Employment Lawyers Association of Ontario and regularly advises employers and employees on all manner of employment, labour, and human rights issues.
His practice focuses on employment, labour and human rights disputes at all levels of court, tribunals and private boards of arbitration, according to his bio on Steinbergs LLP’s website.
“Tahir’s work as an employment lawyer includes, human resource consulting, just-cause terminations, wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, human rights claims, employment standards, and workers’ compensation,” it says. “He also advises on contractual matters, employee terminations, workplace policies, and conducts workplace investigations.”
In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his son, travel, read, play baseball and golf. Khorasanee and his Siberian Husky, Athena, both enjoy hiking and going for long walks, it states.
