Norie Campbell named chief legal officer at Thomson Reuters

Norie Campbell has been named chief legal officer at Thomson Reuters and will join its senior executive team.

Campbell shared the news on LinkedIn, stating that her first day on the job would be Sept. 5.

“Joining a Canadian champion on the global stage with an ambitious growth plan is an incredible opportunity,” she said. “I’ll be helping to shape the future for professionals in law, accounting, tax and beyond from this unique new seat, and also continuing to contribute to the legal profession, which has already given so much to me.”

She called Thomson Reuters a “global Canadian company on the move.”

Campbell has been with TD for more than 21 years, according to her LinkedIn profile, including her most recent role of group head and general counsel.
