Harris law firm adds David Penner, Amanda Alberti as new partners

by HR Law Canada

Harris, a workplace law firm, has announced the addition of David Penner and Amanda Alberti to its partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2025.

David Penner, who joined the firm in 2022, brings a broad practice in litigation, labour, and employment law. Called to the British Columbia Bar in 2014, Penner previously worked at a prominent labour and litigation boutique in Vancouver. He has significant experience representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

Amanda Alberti, called to the B.C. Bar in 2017, specializes in advising public and private sector employers on workplace law issues. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation claims, including workplace injury and occupational disease cases, as well as bullying, harassment, and prohibited action complaints.

Harris Managing Partner Lindsie Thomson said the two lawyers have made significant contributions to the firm. “Their dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence have been invaluable to our clients and our team,” Thomson said. “Their leadership will play a key role in shaping our future and continuing our tradition of helping clients meet their workplace goals.”
