Alex Treiber has set up a new law practice in Toronto, advising both employees and businesses about their workplace rights.
He is a formerly exclusive business-side lawyer who has expanded his practice help workers, the firm’s website states.
“With nearly a decade of experience working at some of the largest and most prestigious law firms in Toronto and New York City, Alex Treiber founded Treiber Law in 2024 to harness his unique skillset to help workers and businesses,” the website for Treiberlaw.ca states.
Treiber Law can offer Bay Street and Wall Street advice without the Bay Street and Wall Street overhead, it states.
Treiber is a graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. His legal career began at McCarthy Tetrault LLP and he also worked at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York City. He returned to Toronto in 2021 and rejoined McCarthy Tetrault’s labour and employment group.
