Call for nominations for the 2024 New Brunswick Human Rights Awards

by HR Law Canada

The New Brunswick Human Rights Commission is accepting nominations for the 2024 New Brunswick Human Rights Awards until May 31.

Since 1988, the commission has presented the Human Rights Award to New Brunswickers who have made exceptional contributions toward advancing human rights, equality, diversity and inclusion in the province. The commission also presents the annual Youth Human Rights Award, established in 2019, to celebrate young New Brunswickers and their commitment to building a better future for the province.

“For 35 years, the New Brunswick Human Rights Awards have celebrated individuals and organizations who have worked tirelessly to champion human rights and make our province a better place to live,” said commission chair Phylomène Zangio. “I encourage New Brunswickers to nominate someone they see working to make a difference in our communities for this year’s awards.”

The nomination form and more information about the nomination process are available on the commission’s website or by calling 1-888-471-2233.
